Avery N Crossman

As a Phoenix workers’ compensation lawyer, Avery Crossman has been practicing Arizona workers’ compensation law since 1994. Ms. Crossman received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989 from the University of Arizona and Juris Doctorate degree in 1993 from Oklahoma City University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Crossman was selected to be on staff for the Oklahoma City University Law Review and the Phi Delta Phi Honors Organization.

Ms. Crossman is a State Bar Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and is past Co-Chair of the State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section. She has served as a faculty member at the State Bar Seminar on Professionalism and is a former Judge Pro Tempore in the Arizona County, Justice, and Superior Courts. In the past, she has spoken at seminars on Workers’ Compensation sponsored by the Industrial Commission of Arizona and the Arizona Association of Lawyers for Injured Workers. Ms. Crossman is a long-time member of the Arizona Association of Lawyers for Injured Workers. She is also a member of American Mensa.

Ms. Crossman has been given an AV Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating. According to Martindale-Hubbell, this ranking is a “testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.” An attorney cannot receive this ranking until he or she has been admitted to the bar for 10 years or more.

In addition, Ms. Crossman was selected for membership in “Arizona’s Finest Lawyers.” This honor, which is peer-nominated, requires that the attorney demonstrate a commitment to advancing the rule of law, a record of high achievement, excellent legal skills, and a reputation for integrity.
